Undergraduates, Taught postgraduates
If you are a student representative you should use this document to make sure you are aware of your roles and responsibilities and how the University can help you to carry them out. If you are not a student representative this document will help you understand what student representatives do and how your representatives can help you.
The University will work with the Students’ Union to ensure that student representatives are supported and clear about what their role is. It will ensure that the work of student representatives is recognised and rewarded. It will ensure that student representatives can feed the views and concerns of students to the University through channels such as Staff Student Liaison Committees.
Students should contact their Programme or School Office for advice or further information about this policy.
