Athletic Union Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct ensures the highest possible standards of fairness, honesty, competition and behaviour within the Athletic Union. The document is binding on all members of the Athletic Union and all persons officially appointed to any team or individual competing in an event (including administrators, coaches, managers, medical practitioners and physiotherapists). It will be used when a certain standard of behaviour has been breached.

Undergraduates, Taught postgraduates

Our expectations of you under this policy:

Students must behave in a manner which does not endanger or cause nuisance to other individuals and to abide by The University of Manchester Athletic Union Health and Safety Policies at all times. They must also act responsibly when participating in activities and to avoid actions which could bring The University of Manchester into disrepute.

Your expectations of us under this policy:

The University of Manchester must initiate the sanction process as soon as the Code of Conduct has been breached by one of its members. They must also ensure that students are aware of the document.
