You may wish to refer to the document to see guidance on assessment procedures, including, for example, details about the use of calculators and dictionaries in exams, and how to avoid academic malpractice or plagiarism. Schools may have their own programme or School-specific guidance to accompany the policies and guidance within the Assessment Framework.
The University has a responsibility to students to carry out assessment fairly and equitably. This document sets out the various different policies and guidance covering assessment to enable this to take place, providing information and guidance to both staff and students.
