To standardise practice across the University in terms of the anticipation, identification and promotion of good practice in the preparation and presentation of teaching and learning materials for the general benefit of all students, but particularly for the support of disabled students, by mainstreaming a small number of adjustments.
Undergraduates, Taught postgraduates
It is your responsibility to ensure that the University is informed about any specific needs that you have in relation to support for a disability, specific learning difficulty or long term health or mental health condition. You can do this by registering with the DSO.
All staff should use the principles outlined in this policy in the preparation of new teaching and learning materials.
