The Assessment Framework contains information for staff and students on assessment, including marking, feedback, Examination Boards, mitigating circumstances, exams and academic malpractice/plagiarism.

Schools may have their own programme or School-specific guidance to accompany the policies and guidance within the Assessment Framework.

The University has a responsibility to students to carry out assessment fairly and equitably. This document sets out the various different policies and guidance covering assessment to enable this to take place, providing information and guidance to both staff and students.
